John Cleveland is serving his first term as the Senator for District 15 (Auburn, Durham, New Gloucester, and Poland). He previously served in the four terms in the Senate from 1991 to 1998 representing Androscoggin County. Cleveland is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, and the former mayor of Auburn. He owns a consulting business, Community Dynamics Corp., which has provided planning, economic, and community development services in Maine to public and business clients for nearly 25 years. Cleveland lives in Auburn with his wife, Debora, and is active in his community as a board member of Museum L-A, member of the Androscoggin Chamber, vice chair of the Auburn Community Development Loan Committee, and founding member of Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Rotary Club. |
